Antiquing in France is a lot of fun but it can be confusing and time consuming trying to navigate the diverse shops, markets and myriad of dealers.
Before settling in New York in 1999 and launching my Interior Design firm, I spent 12 years in France and whether living in Paris or in Provence, my favorite pastime was to roam the Flea Markets and Antiques dealers in search of that one piece that "needed to be saved", that treasure that only I could see.
Exploring the labyrinth of French flea markets, “brocantes” or auction houses trained my eye and fueled my passion for beautiful furnishings, fabrics and “objets” d'art.
Years or research and trade secrets later, I feel I need to share that one of a kind shopping experience. Join me on my excursions to France and I will help you discover and purchase your very own treasures inherited from History.
Provence in the springtime is a feast for all the senses, join me and discover an astonishing architectural heritage, the incomparable joie de vivre of the people living in the South, the effortless refinement of their home and its many antique and brocante dealers.
I will guide you through the International Antique Fair in Isle-sur-la-Sorgue which twice a year boasts half a thousand professionals (exhibitors and shops) in a dozen Antique Villages, an Ali Baba’s cavern for antique lovers and a potential goldmine for antique dealers.
